170-year-old Fort Macon open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Audio program in Commandant's and Enlisted Men's Quarters, World War II Barracks and Gunpowder Magazine open daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Bookstore and Museum open daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   For further information call 252-726-3775  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday.


APRIL

02        Wednesday      10:00 a.m.         BEACH HIKE – Meet at the fort parking lot for a leisurely hike along
                                                             the beach to learn about the natural and cultural history of the area.
